Winter Wedding Marquee Hire

Working with one of our newly engaged couples, we were tasked to create a fun yet luxurious New Years Eve Wedding to see in 2017. The theme was The Great Gatsby, and this was certainly achieved whilst maintaining the classical wedding interior.  Despite chilly temperatures outside, the atmosphere inside was anything but.

At the initial site visit, we met the couple at the family home in South Gloucestershire.  After discussing ideas and themes, and with careful measuring of the site, we then created a detailed CAD drawing so the couple could envisage how the space would work.  Being in the depths of winter, we suggested using our solid walls to create a really snug venue for the couple’s special day.  An existing building was built into the design, partly to allow for catering space and also as an access point to the main marquee via a Chinese Hat structure.

The final effect was stunning and was more than the couple had expected from their marquee hire.  Utilising our fabricated flower rings and planters supplied by the florists, huge amounts of green foliage created a magical atmosphere.  Twisted willow with more fairy lights were planted into packing cases, creating a screen between the dining area and the chillout area.  Pinspot lights to each table certainly helped as the night drew in early and starlight lining over the dancefloor added to the wintry scene.

The newly wedded couple danced the night away in our solid sided marquee and saw in 2017 with absolute style surrounded by friends and family.  What better way to see in a New Year.

Take a look at this amazing video from Beard and Mane, and just look at how beautiful the final creation was. And also a huge thank you to Ruth Atkinson for some wonderful images.
