A heartwarming Herefordshire marquee wedding was one of the first of our 2018 wedding season, and the first at Flanesford Priory. 2018 will be our second season looking after exclusive weddings at Flanesford Priory. Our beautiful marquee is nestled within the grounds of the ancient buildings. Flanesford sits just beneath Goodrich Castle and a stones throw from the River Wye.
What better way to kickstart this year’s season that with this absolute beauty. Firstly, fabulous striking colour from the simple use of richly coloured table clothes. This reflects popular dark colour choices seen in interior design. This is a trend we believe we’re going to see more of for 2019. Dark blazer blue table clothes were used on the long top table and round tables in the marquee. Therefore the ivory roof and wall linings provided the perfect blank canvas for the colour on the table.

Decoration on the table was simple and stylish. Silver candelabra and cut glass candle holders added a vintage touch to the table settings. Just white flowers and green foliage was used in arrangements. Our black and white dancefloor looked stunning in the marquee, and helped set off the art deco styling the bride and groom and chosen. Finally, the couple also chose some fabulous peacock detail napkins, which tied all the theming together.
We’ve got plenty more Herefordshire marquee wedding at Flanesford Priory to come. Please keep your eyes peeled on our Instagram account to see all the fabulous images we’ll be capturing. What a fabulous Summer season it’s turning out to be.
