From an opulent display at Hagley Hall in Worcestershire, to a riverside snowy sanctuary in Herefordshire, and a whole lot of other events in between, Good Intents have been busy keeping the elements at bay whilst creating wonderful winter marquee weddings.
We started the season in Shropshire, making the best use of the last of the early Winter sunshine in a tranquil garden. Our ever popular crossback chairs, combined with festoon lighting, flower rings and colourful table linen, created a wonderful setting for the wedding.
Sub-frame floors and ample heating allow us to make all marquees super warm and a haven for guests. In December, our Herefordshire bride and groom wanted a VW bar from Beetle Juice situated within the structure. The marquee was carefully built around the vintage van; a unique set up which the bride and groom were thoroughly thrilled with, as you can read here. Built in toilet facilities meant once guests were in the marquee, there was no need for them to brave the elements outside. Read more about this unique event here.
With the New Year we saw in more winter marquee weddings. Another visit to the wonderful Ellenborough Park in Gloucestershire, where the wintery elements were a little easier on the team. We created a dining marquee for our beautiful couple in very chilly conditions, though the inside of the marquee was anything but.
February saw in a vibrant daytime wedding for over 200 guests at Hagley Hall. Our Premium Structure was erected on site during howling winds and the second heavy snowfall of the winter. And, boy, didn’t the latest addition to the Good Intents team hold it’s own. Our LED round bar fitted perfectly with the colour scheme and wonderful linen colours chosen by the bridal party.
And now, as we head into Summer we’re so excited to show you some of our creations for this year. Keep your eyes peeled on our instagram page for the latest images. There is so much more to come.
