Unusual Spaces: multi split level marquee hire

Split level marquee hire comes into it’s own for this wonderful wedding in Gloucestershire

Split level marquee hire – when an unusual space requires a marquee, we create an unusual structure. More often than not, it’s these structures that really have the wow factor. Not many marquee hire companies are capable of producing them.

On this occasion the split level marquee hire had three ‘decks’ – the top deck for dining, the central deck contained the entrance to the structure and also a chillout area, with sofas and our wooden rustic bar front. Finally, (yes, there’s more!) the bottom deck which we designed to create a nightclub effect.

Once guests had enjoyed drinks and nibbles, supplied by Izzie’s Catering, they then made their way up a few steps into the dining deck, with our galvanized flower rings festooned with beautiful flowers. The LED balustrade created a great division between the areas. Pealighting across the ceiling gathered to a central point looked amazing once the sun started to set. After the wedding breakfast was complete, guests made their way to the bottom deck and the black and white dancefloor was well used that evening.

These pictures clearly show the slope we had to contend with but the split level marquee hire overcame this. Having done another beautiful wedding at this fabulous family home a few years ago, we knew exactly the possibilities of what could be achieved. The engineering and scaffold subframe were all concealed behind black skirting, so the exterior looked as sharp as the interior. Split level marquee hire at its finest.

White carpet throughout the top two decks gave the structure continuity whilst the distinctly dark nightclub area was brilliantly executed. The crisp finish to the black-out walls and the steps down into the nightclub, were supersleek. The back and white dance floor and panoramic window walls created a brilliant atmosphere in the bottom deck as guests danced the night away to the Chip Shop Boys.

Split level structures are always a great challenge we love to get stuck into, and this one worked brilliantly to create a wonderful venue for the wedding reception for a lovely couple.
