The Client – BBC
Good Intents were approached by the BBC to provide additional space for the DIY SOS programme, working with Children in Need, to assist on a project in South Wales. At the height of the global pandemic in September 2020 the filming crew required extra space to allow for social distancing, something that hadn’t been required previously. We created seperate dining spaces for each of the work teams so they could maintain the bubbles that were created for filming.
Two structures were erected; a 9m x 15m and a 12m x 18m with 10 tonne and 13 tonne of concrete weighting respectively. The larger structure was partitioned to create three dining spaces. 40 individual dining tables with chairs were spread throughout each space. Two of our hands-free Go-Cleaner units were set up at each venue to allow the teams to handwash hand-free.
