Only one marquee for the occasion of a 125th Anniversary Celebration Dinner and Dance that could grace an 18th green, our curved-roof premium structure. The super structure was 20m x 35m and accommodated nearly 400 dining guests. With a guest list of that size, everyone’s safety is paramount. Did you know, even in a temporary structure such as a marquee, you should always be within 15m of an exit? Clear PVC Fire Panels, which sat alongside our regular panoramic window walls, were installed as per the regulations and guidance, as well as a full complement of fire safety equipment.
A 20m clear roof covered walkway linked the Clubhouse to the marquee sited on the 18th green. As always, the team took great care to maintain the grassed areas and our board floor and carpet system meant the living grass underneath could return to normality once we had cleared the structure.
As well as keeping everyone safe, the guests were also there to have fun. A grand black and white dancefloor and one of our 30” mirrorballs were installed for guests to celebrate the history of a fabulous establishment.
