Our first real foray into the world of filming. Getting our heads round the lingo was the first challenge, but we built up some great connections and made some lovely friends in the industry. Secondly, building the structure during the Beast from the East of 2018 and with heavy snow settling on the clear PVC roof, made for some busy nights. Keeping the heating ticking over in multiple structures over multiple sites was a full-time job alone.
This was a two pronged project all located at Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire. Firstly, the set marquee where a wedding would be filmed for the show. A very special structure was supplied by Good Intents and transformed into the wedding set. Built on 4m leg height, the usual being 2.3m, the clear roof, premium marquee was an amazing blank canvas for the set designers to create a luxurious venue befitting the Roy family.
Secondly, there was the back of house spaces for things such as makeup, wardrobe and canteen space. These were created in the same vein and with the same professionalism as the set structure, and as a result of our excellent customer service experience and the amazing final result for filming, we have since taken on more and bigger filming projects.
