Split Level Marquee Hire in Gloucester

Split Level Magic in the Royal Forest of Dean

An early Summer wedding saw the wonderful celebration in the fabulous Royal Forest of Dean for our handsome couple. Guided along the way by the wonderful Susan Hopkins, the bride and groom created a magnificent, super smart space for their celebration at their family home.

Following the first client meeting months beforehand in a very foggy, misty spring morning at the client’s home, it took some vision but indeed something was created out of a beautiful tree-lined site.  It required some clever engineering and design, but we pulled it off with a great split level structure. A spectacular build from the Good Intents team, all based on a scaffold sub frame floor, saw guests enter a 9m square Reception Pavilion through a Chinese hat, which was the perfect spot for a circular LED bar with a spectacular flower ring overhead.  Then down a few steps flanked by the balustrade and into the dining and dancing pavilion, with white carpets and dancefloor, the look was immaculate. Coupled with the additional leg height the split level allows and the clear gable ends, the dining space was incredibly light and airy.

Personal pictures throughout the marquee and beautiful flowers installed by The Pink Peony, together with the dove grey table cloths and pretty charger plates added to the look which we think you’ll agree is really spectacular.

Guests enjoyed special pre-dinner treats from The Oystermeister before being seated on beautifully decorated tables and served pie and mash from Pieminster before dancing the night away to The Supertones.

Thank you to Rachel Lambert Photography for capturing a fabulous day and for all the wonderful images.
